What to Expect:
Initial appointments may take up to 2 hours to allow enough time for an in-depth intake and initial treatment. Because of the nature of traditional Chinese medicine and classical homeopathic practice, it is important to gather detailed information to provide truly individualized treatment.
Follow-up appointments are 60-90 minutes depending on the treatment approach chosen for your individualized care. Treatment methods may include acupuncture, acupressure, bodywork, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and/or nutritional and lifestyle recommendations based on my professional judgement and your preferences.
Frequency of follow-up visits can range from once per month for wellness and maintenance up to 2-3 times/week in the midst of acute situations. Most patients return every week or every other week on average for follow-up acupuncture and acupressure treatments while seeking cumulative improvement, with initial improvement usually within 1-3 treatments. Inclusion of herbal medicine and/or homeopathy can lessen the need for more frequent office visits.
Pricing for initial appointments is $125, and follow-up appointments are $100. Discounted packages (15% off of 10) are available for a course of treatment and for families seeking treatment for multiple family members.
